Departure from Pozzallo

Meet your driver and start the journey towards Mount Etna.


Arrival at Etna (Rifugio Sapienza)

Free time to explore the Silvestri Craters and the surrounding lunar landscapes.


You can choose between two optional experiences (to be paid on the spot):


  • Cable car to 2,500 m

Ride the cable car up to Montagnola (approx. €30 per person). Enjoy panoramic views, short walks and a bar with a terrace.


  • 4x4 + Guide up to 2,920 m

From 2,500 m, continue by 4x4 UNI-MOG with a licensed guide up to 2,800 m, then hike to 2,920 m (approx. €60 per person).


Lunch break

You may have lunch at a mountain restaurant such as Rifugio Sapienza or La Terrazza sull’Etna, or wait to have lunch in Taormina.

Enjoy free time to explore Corso Umberto, the Greek Theatre (optional), boutiques, cafés and panoramic viewpoints.
